Westbali Sunset & Dinner Tour
Experience the beauty of Bali’s sunsets in a private Westbali sunset and dinner tour.
Depart from your hotel at 2:30pm and visit the Rambut Siwi Hindu Temple, situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean and endless beaches to the west.
Next, transfer by car through the regency’s capital city Negara to the Pengambengan traditional fishing harbour, where you will see countless wooden boats being prepped for going out to the sea.
Weather permitting you will enjoy stunning views of East Java’s impressive volcanoes.
Next the tour heads East and after a short drive you will visit a Mangrove sanctuary in the Perancak River estuary.
After a short transfer you will reach Sunset Point on the Perancak river mouth, and after taking in some breathtaking sights of traditional boats before the setting sun, you will indulge in a traditionally prepared fresh catch seafood dinner, consisting of several variations of seafood, rice, and two kinds of chili sambals, and veggies of the day. Dinner is served at the casual Lesehan Taman Pesisir located right on the river’s bank.
The tour will end with a 30-minute transfer back to Wide Sands, arriving at about 8:30 - 9:00 PM.

Explore the Tidal Estuary by Kayak
Discover the hidden beauty of our Sumbul river estuary using our 2-seater Feelfree ocean kayaks
Only a short walk away from the hotel, our staff will set up your kayak(s) on the river's bench, give you a quick introduction and off you go, exploring the calm waters of the tidal estuary (indon. "Muara") by yourself.
Optionally, our staff is ready to come along as your guide. However, he will require one seat inside the kayak.
What to expect:
Paddling a professional ocean kayak by yourself
Experiencing a unique eco-system between mountains and sea, with its diverse mangrove dominated flora and fauna, from freshwater through brackish- to seawater.
Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife: Colourful kingfishers, herons and other birds, occasionally snakes or monitor lizards sun-bathing or swimming across.
Village life: You will meet friendly locals, fishing, herding their cows, or just taking a morning bath in the clean waters.

Note:
Due to the required, delicate balance between the ocean's tides and the river's currents, paddling the estuary is not possible at all times and must be booked in advance. At some times, especially during the rainy season it may not be possible at all. Please enquire at our front office.
