Westbali Experience & Dinner Tour
Multiple attractions along our coast and foothills, with an authentic seafood dinner served by the water's edge.
Duration: 14:00 - 20:00 = +/- 6 hours
Depending on season and weather, we will take you to visit a selection out of the following attractions:
- Bunut Bolong (drive-through tree)
- Rice terraces
- Rambut Siwi Hindu Temple
- Pengambengan Traditional Fishing Harbour
- Drive through the Mangrove forests of the Perancak River estuary
- Turtle Conservation
There are other beautiful views & vistas along the way: green hills and valleys, ocean and sunset, traditional fishing boats going after their trade. Feel free to ask our driver/guide to stop if you wish to take a photo or just enjoy a little longer.
As the sun begins to set you will be served a traditionally prepared seafood dinner, right by the water’s edge close to the Perancak River mouth: a variation of seafoods, rice, and two kinds of chili sambal and veggies.
The tour will end with a 40 minutes transfer back to the hotel, arriving at around 20:00.
This private tour is perfect for couples or small groups who want to experience the beauty of Westbali in a unique and intimate way.

Explore the Tidal Estuary by Kayak
Discover the hidden beauty of our Sumbul river estuary using our 2-seater Feelfree ocean kayaks
Only a short walk away from the hotel, our staff will set up your kayak(s) on the river's bench, give you a quick introduction and off you go, exploring the calm waters of the tidal estuary (indon. "Muara") by yourself.
Optionally, our staff is ready to come along as your guide. However, he will require one seat inside the kayak.
What to expect:
Paddling a professional ocean kayak by yourself
Experiencing an eco-system between mountains and sea, with its diverse mangrove dominated flora and fauna, from freshwater through brackish- to seawater.
Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife: With a bit of luck you may see colourful kingfishers, herons and other birds, and occasionally a monitor lizards sun-bathing or swimming across.
Village life along the banks, greet friendly Balinese while fishing, herding their cows, or just taking a morning bath in the clean waters.

Note:
Due to the required, delicate balance between the ocean's tides and the river's currents, paddling the estuary is not possible at all times and must be booked in advance. At some times, especially during the rainy season it may not be possible at all. Please enquire at our front office.
